This Batik Blur is for the 2014 Relay For Life, here in Terrebonne Parish. Some time ago, I saw a similar quilt on Pinterest. I searched and searched for a pattern, then gave up and drew one up myself. I have no clue if my version is close to the original, but I like it. Update: The pattern is called Shimmering Triangles, by Jenny Bowker. I was thrilled to find the designer, and have since purchased the pattern - love this design and have already made another version.
The project was originally started for our One Fabric Challenge. I quilted swirls and feathers all over with a "Blue Jean Gold" thread.
Hooking up with other Friday pretties, hosted by Sarah at Confessions for a Fabric Addict.

I love your top! It looks like its vibrating. Nicely done!!
Wow, your quilt is just lovely, beautiful, and yes, I was cleaning my glasses there at first. I normally don't care for batiks, but this quilt really favors them. Nice finish!
Wow, I love the visual effect of this. You did a great job of drawing your own pattern, and keeping track of color placement as well!
The first word that comes to mind is vibrant....WOW!
Very cool, Jamie! I love this quilt!! I did a similar block for a "sunlight on water" quilt that i did - but I love the way yours seems to vibrate! Whoop whoop!
What an awesome quilt. It is stunning.
I am blown away by the movement of your quilt--amazing!

Really neat design, and I love the way it turned out. Way to go!
if you have this pattern for sale, I will buy it :) Makes me dizzy! You did a great job.
I love your quilt. It looks like puzzle pieces put together. Great design and color choices.
I saw this on Pinterest but it didn't link to the maker. I'm glad to have found out who made this beautiful quilt. It's gorgeous! Will you be publishing a pattern?
