The 2020 Hands2Help Comfort Quilt Challenge has wrapped up another year. This is the 10th year I have participated and I am so honored to be part of this group, especially in a challenging year.
Using a variety of 6" square (finished size) Crumb Blocks, scrappy backgrounds and four sets of HSTs in Orange, Teal, Purple and Gold creating a secondary design of the Friendship Stars.
Close up of the quilting .... a simple swirl.
Partial view, the quilt finished at 54" X 78".
Thanks to Sarah, Confessions of a Fabric Addict for hosting this event once again. This quilt, called "Friendship Crumbs" is headed to Emily with Aunt Em's Quilts for "Quilty Hugs". These quilts go to cancer patients through the Rack Pack, Primary Children's Hospital and various chemo labs. They are given to the patient for their personal use.

nice addition of the friendship stars to your crumb quilt.
That’s a very beautiful and unique quilt. I love the friendship stars. It will certainly be loved and appreciated by someone.
I like how the stars and string blocks are arranged to play so nicely together. Definitely something I need to keep filled away in the back of my head for future ideas!
Jamie, I love this unique use of crumb blocks! It's fabulous! Thanks for being part of Hands2Help 2020!
Love This! You are so Creative. When I read the blog post on https://confessionsofafabricaddict.blogspot.com/, I wondered which quilt was yours!
Great looking quilt, wonderful use of scraps and clever stars.
I absolutely love this very clever quilt. The secondary friendship stars pattern add so much dimension to the already spectacular crumb block design.
