An open note to the designer Barbara Brackman -- Your fabric line is beautiful and true to its historic origin! Having the layer cake gave me access to each and every print and of course I had a few favorites ..... but I could not resist playing with each piece. I only wish my photography skills could pick up the detail of each block.
Below ... Meet my oldest niece Kristy Lynn, the pattern's namesake -- Her dream came true when she became a Mom to four beautiful girls, Alleigh, Emma, Piper and McKinley. The first quilt -- used the gorgeous Moda fabric line "Boutique" by Chez Moi.
Thank you all for visiting today. I hope you take the time to visit the Moda Bake Shop and let me know what you think. Grab a cup of coffee, tea or glass of wine and then take a tour of Barbara Brackman's site -- and be ready for a trip back in time.

Congratulations. I adore that fabric. William Morris designs are timeless. Barbara Brackman has reinvented them in deep, rich hues. I love the purple/ violet. This is a must do project.
Fabulous!! Both quilts are terrific! The first one has special meaning too. Off to MBS to take a peek.
Congratulations, Jamie!! How awesome!! It's a beautiful quilt..... especially in those fabrics. It gives it a whole different feel!

It's beautiful. I have some fabrics that I've been saving and this is just the pattern. Thank you so much.
Love that pattern! You use the whole layer cake unit with no waste and even some HSTs left over. I love leftovers :D
