I am so excited! Missy's Fall Garden has just come out the Moda Baking Oven and is now available at the Moda Bake Shop. Named for my second niece, Missy Marie, the quilt uses every one of the 42 10x10" pieces of the Layer Cake, "Awesome" by Sandy Gervais, for Moda. I feel like I just won the Lottery!
Speaking of winning --for those of you who have never had a layer cake, or those who want to enjoy more of this calorie-free delight, my friend Debbie, owner of the Quilting Niche' is offering a GIVEAWAY at her new blog, Fancy Girl Designs!
Stay tuned -- there is more. The "left-over" HST's from the top were used in another fall quilt, that I will show tomorrow for Sew and Tell Friday!
Thanks go out to Moda for allowing me to be part of this great group of chefs! How ironic -- I am soooo NOT a cook.
Take Care, Jamie

Oh wow! how exciting.
I'd rather 'cook' with fabric too!!
Super cute!
I love it! You baked a great one!
Just saw your posting on Moda Bakeshop, and I, too, am from South LA (Thibodaux). I think the Quilting Niche is in Houma? Maybe I'll make it there one day. For now, I live in Hattiesburg, MS, and love all things fabric :) Thanks for the tutorial!
I love the new pattern! Congratulations on being a Chef! I look forward to seeing more of you patterns. Enjoy reading your blog! Thanks for all your hints and ideas.
found this on the bakeshop -- loved it and the low and behold realised it was you when I read your blog -- congrats -- I am going to do this one with an awesome layer cake
Another great finish, Jamie! I love anything FALL! Congrats!
Just saw your quilt at Moda Bake Shop--it's great!
That's such a pretty quilt -- I can't wait to see what you did with the extra triangles.
Came here via Moda Bake Shop...love your pattern!
Thanks for sharing!
I have always loved "Moda Bake Shop." Now you're there too. Love the Layer Cakes. Yum!. Connie
Love the 'Aah, hah!' suggestion of stitching the 'leftover' HSTs together before trimming them from the bigger block. Double-time quilting, gotta love the time savers!
Me gusta mucho,un colorido muy bonito.
