Below are four of the eight placemats I am working on --- using the HH method. The top left is sewn together and trimmed, finishing at 12" x 18". I am using up my oriental fabric stash that seemed to multiply over the last couple of years. If there is enough left over, I will make a table runner. For the quilting, I will use a straight stitch AND machine finish the binding. If any are finished by Friday - stayed tuned.

I love you quilt---looks so good, sorry about your fabric shortage, it seems to be a universal problem amoung us quilters, such a pain tho'. But I love your attitude-it's done regardless!
And I want to try that scrappy hexagon....must learn to not need sleep :)
I love the color combo of your Peaches and Dreams. Good luck with the fabric. There is always something that will work.
It's fabulous! great job! The last border could happily be green or blue
I love your Peaches and Dreams. It is beautiful. It is on my "Someday List". Your colour combo is wonderful.
Lovely quilt. It is so much fun to see how different a quilt can look, depending on colour choices
Love those colors you used for Peaches & Dreams. I like those placemats too. I'm going to try that HH method of piecing!
Jamie I love your colors you chose for your Peaches and Dream's quilt. I have a question. How did you post to Judy's site without putting your whole blog? I tried posting and was deleted because I didn't post right. Thanks. Liz
To Liz -- After publishing your post, go back to your home page and click on the title of your new post. Scan down and you will now see only the new post. Copy the http:// and paste it to the URL on Judy's page. I am new at this, so there may be an easier way...but this works.
