"The Goose Has Left the Pond", designed by Larisa Key of Connecticut was published in the November 2001 QNM. I held on to this magazine in hopes of one day making this quilt. It was started last year, with only two blocks, settings and border left to go.
I am trying to quilt several tops and cannot concentrate with an empty design wall. Putting this one up will keep my mind off starting another top and inspire me to finish this one.

What gorgeous colors!
I was also reading your "About Me" and what a cool thing, to combine stashes with your sister! That would be like a dream for me, lol. Also, how wonderful to have blocks and fabric from past quilters!
I love this design and your setting is creating a wonderful secondary design.
Very nice...it has a watery feel to it.
I smiled about your comment that you can't concentrate on your quilting with an empty design wall! :)
That is so pretty! I love the setting and the colors.

beautiful colors!
Me, too, I love how the colors blend–it's both very watery and water-color-like. This is going to be a drop-dead gorgeous quilt.
This would definitely inspire me! It's lovely and has a peaceful feeling.
Lovely colors. Hope you finish this one.
