I have a fascination with Churn Dash Blocks right now. Above is the start of a baby boy quilt using 12" blocks. I found this "boyish" fabric below and started pulling the colors from my stash.
For now until the new year, I am trying very hard to finish quilting the tops I have already. If I can stay on track, Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt will fit in nicely.
After a long absence from the Monday Design Wall, I am excitedly linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times.
What fun fabric for a baby quilt. Your blocks look great!
ReplyDeleteLove churn dash! Good luck with your finishes, I am trying to do the same thing!
ReplyDeleteChurn dash (and Bonnie's Chunky Churn dash) is a super fun and easy block to do. You will have a very nice baby boy quilt when done.
ReplyDeleteLove the churn dash blocks. Can't wait to see how you put them together.
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the churn dashes! That will be a great quilt!!
ReplyDeleteChurn Dash is one of my first quilting faves and remains so today. The Friendship Quilt on my post today (finished yesterday/began 30+ years ago!) reflects my little group's love of the pattern, also. This will turn out so nice I'm sure!!!
ReplyDeleteFun fabric. Those churn dash blocks will make a cute baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric and cute Churn Dash. Good luck with finishing the tops on time. ;^)
