Bonnie Hunter, with Quiltville posted her Easy Street Mystery Step #7 early this morning, and I have finished the corner units. I cleaned up the design wall and tried to remove all the threads to start fresh, because tomorrow will be a whirlwind of sewing. After I finishing posting this, I am heading back to the sewing room to start the side inserts.
I often speak of my quilting friend Mary -- she is moving to Pittsburgh PA tomorrow. She has enough on her plate, so I offered to quilt a few tops for her. The one above is for her niece Sarah, from the pattern "Turning Twenty" by Tricia Cribbs. Mary is a precise piecer, so it is always fun to load hers on the frame.
And I often speak of my nieces and nephews, but Jolie is the youngest and changes so much every day. Here she is getting ready for Christmas --- and below she is trying to wake up her Nanny Nicole's puppy "Skeet". Do you think he notices?
It is hard to believe it is the last day of the year! And the last "Monday Design Wall" hosted by Judy of Patchwork Times for the year. I am heading over there to join her and others for the linky party.

You really got right to work on today's Easy Street clue! This looks great.
Already finished the corner units? You are something else! Quilter extraordinaire! I am using Bonnie's colors, but I sure do like your choices. You have a great eye for color. Happy New Year!
