Very good friend Mary is visiting this week -- lots of visiting and shopping! While here, I quilted a baby quilt she had just finished, giving me an opportunity to try out my new "Red Snappers" (a system for loading quilts on the long arm -- no more pins!). I watched the You Tube video demonstrated by Renae Haddadin and found them very easy to work with - and FAST!
Still wanting to try those "Red Snappers" again, my sister Phyllis finished a cute little crazy patch, so I loaded it on -- what a SNAP!!!
Saving the best for last, Blog Reader Friend, Amy Loar sent me a picture of her finished project inspired by my pattern "Missy's Fall Garden". Her project started with a block exchange in their Bee. Amy appliqued the centers to the flowers, snipped the edges and assembled on point -- Awesome Finish gifted to a very special young lady Amy knows. There is nothing more flattering when a quilter makes a pattern her own by adding those special touches.
Now I am heading over to Sarah's, Confessions of a Fabric Addict, for a link up to her Black Friday Party. Then I am heading to the sewing room for a little "Easy Street" Sewing with Bonnie Hunter's new Mystery Quilt.
