I have a "special project" of many-many deep blues/navy which generated an abundance of scraps. I cut more 2 1/2" squares and ended up with enough to make sashing stars. And ..... notice the 1996 Moda Fabric by Deb Strain which has been fermenting (like a good wine). I still had 3 yards.
While making the blue/tan quilt, I used the 2 1/2" squares of many colors for "leaders and enders" (credit to Bonnie Hunter / Quiltville). Although I cannot yet show the blue/tan, I can show off the scrappy quilt.

Off to Judy's Monday Design Wall Link Party at Patchwork Times to join many others.

Hmmmmm I would like such a "sticky wall."!
Scraps are fun! I love the Moda fabric you still have yardage of -- it caught my eye right away! :)
Scrappy is beautiful but it scares me and I haven't been able to do it yet! I have, however, been cutting up scraps into squares so i will get there! Your scrappy project is great!
That is going to be a beautiful quilt. I love the scrappy-ness of it.

I like the Star Sashing with the cute 4-patch in the center! Good Going for a Monday.
Your scrappy quilt is beautiful. I have fallen in love with 16 patch quilts: I may have to do another one.
Oh wow! That is so pretty and colorful.
It so cool to see all the things you can do with a 16 patch. Thanks for the inspiration
