Sunday Stash Report / New Border

I am quilting the finished top with the new border. I snapped this picture while it was on the design wall --- you can see how this pieced border finishes the flowers. I like this much better.

Stash Report -- Behaving myself right now so I will have spending money for the Houston Quilt Show. By next week, the above quilt will be completely finished, so my "finished" numbers will be much better.

Purchased this week, -0-
Purchased Year To Date, 276.90
Finished this week, -0-
Finished year to Date, (351.50)
Net for the Year, (74.60) --- Goal is 100.

I will link up with Judy at Patchwork Times today, so check out the other stash reports for inspiration.

Great choice for the border - I love it!

I love it! Is the little white line intentional, or just the backing showing through? Because I think it gives it an interesting look, if it's unintended.....

I always prefered finishing the elements in the borders on those patterns just make them look cut off too. THis is a great looking pattern and love your colorway scrappiness.

That's it!! perfect border. I was wondering also if the white showing isa tiny separating strip. That sure adds to it. Great job!!

Love your quilt. It all works together so well. You are also getting closer and closer to your goal of 100.

The extra border really makes the centre look finished.

ooough this was the perfect border for this quilt... however from looking at the pic that was taken before made me think... OOOough what if they had included a small 1" finished or so white border... like the white design wall behind it shows. ?? :) Maybe try it if you ever attempt the same pattern again.

It could give it the "unexpected" look and be very nice :)

Merry Christmas and Love from Texas! ~bonnie
