Scrap Busting Monday

Making kits from scraps.  I received a little block pattern during a Shop Hop a couple of years ago, I changed it up a little because I had several 4 1/2" strips and scraps left over from another project.  I cut them up to make 4 1/2" squares, then used up 2 1/2" X 4 1/2" coordinating strips.  It looks like I will have two kits, one for a girl and one for a boy (possibly 2).

After the blocks are done, will label the columns, and plastic bag them for quick assembly.  The one at the top, is a little busy in the picture, but it is using up a lot of the bright scraps.

Above is using a solid Kona in the center, with browns, blues and greens scraps to finish off the blocks.  I still have a lot of the 4 1/2" Kona solid squares, so I will go back later and choose another colorway for a kit.  The kits come in handy for those "Sit and Sew" Days with our guild.

Linking up with Em's Scrapbag, "Moving It Forward".
