Stash Report & Sneak Peak

The ShopHop is over, and I did only a little damage. One reason, I had to work, so no traveling for me this year. But as planned, I snatched up the Fandango Layer Cake at the Quilting Niche'. This is now my 3rd Layer Cake and I just love waiting until I start cutting to see the fabric. That's right, I keep it sealed until the big day. I also picked up 1/2 yard of 4 Kaffee Fassett fabrics to add to my collection and a cool ruler.

Speaking of Layer Cakes, below is a sneak peak at the quilt finished using Awesome by Sandy Gervais for Moda. Even the back was pieced together using yardage from Sandy's Fall Back in Time, which I won a couple of years ago at a ShopHop. I will share the pattern later on.

Now for the damage report:

Finished (used) this week, (13) yards
Finished (used) year to date, (250.35)
Purchased this week 5 yards
Purchased year to date, 250.35
Net Busted, (55.65)

I did much more damage to my stash at your LQS. LOL. Beautiful fabric and wonderful designs.

I went to Quuilters Niche yesterday - the only shop I got to visit - and asked if you were there. :) I bought Schnibbles Times Two (the book), one of Debbie's? patterns and the fabric to make it plus 3/4 yard of another fabric to use as the background for one of the little quilts in the Schnibbles book. I also got lost in Houma - made a wrong turn - and found Hobby Lobby and all the shopping along that street. Last time I went to The Quilters Niche I went there and right back home so I was thrilled to find all the great shopping places. Sorry I missed you! blessings, marlene

I enjoyed the shop hop. I was on the bus. Don't know if you were there at the same time when 32 of us invaded. All the shops were great, and the "guy" at the "Niche" was so nice talking to us about the Bernina's, LSU and etc. It was the first time that I had been in that shop. I managed to leave a few coins there and bought some lovely fabric. We will be looking forward to next year.
