This will be the last time you see the Yellow Monochromatic Quilt until it is done. All that is left is the inner border and then attaching the pieced outside border. The top will be small -- only 48 x 64. I am already looking forward to Judy's February color in her Monochromatic Quilt Challenge -- especially since my least favorite color was first.
I have most of the clues done for Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt, so I will soon be putting the blocks up as they are assembled. I found a few fellow bloggers who have aleady posted their version, so I am extra motivated to finish mine. I just LOVE scrappy!
For more Design Walls, visit Judy at Patchwork Times. I will be linking up with our host, and looking forward to see how others are doing.

Your monochromatic quilt is looking good.
That is so pretty, like the golden honey in a comb. You really have a great quilt. I agree yellow is my least favorite color to work with so this is a big challenge. I wonder what color next month will bring?
Thanks for the organizing tips, too. I have fabrics in easy accessable totes. Current projects the fabric is sorted in an open box type of container. It is going to be a long process to get my closets and other spaces organized. I try every year but somehow things are really messy currently.
I think this is my favorite of the yellow quilts I have seen. Excellent work :)
You are a fast sewer! Great job on the yellow quilt; looking forward to seeing it completed.
I'm rather fond of the colour yellow, and am enjoying seeing all the yellow quilts popping up. Yours is great!
Love your mono challenge! I just love hexagon quilts...I must find the one I have cut out...where is that darn thing?!?
Your quilt is going to look great.
Congratulations on getting so far along on the challenge. I always think that yellow is very nice in moderation. The honeycomb shape does go well with yellow I think.
I like your Yellow challenge quilt. You've inspired me to sort my strings by color as you've shown the mono color blocks come in so handy! I'm on step 5 of RRCB and can't wait to be finished with the 600 red 1/2 square triangles so I cans start putting blocks together.
Yellow is normally not my color, but I have done several for my sister who has it everywhere. This is absolutely gorgeous, well done.
That's beautiful, Jamie! Are you going to enter it in the Modern Quilt Guild challenge?
I wound have never thought to make an all-yellow quilt but I really like how this one looks!
You've certainly met the challenge with a lot of energy and movement! Looking great.
That is a very cool way to use the string blocks!
The yellow quilt is lovely - all sunshine and honey.
I really like your yellow quilt and the contrast between the shapes of the inner blocks and the border. All it needs is an orange binding, well maybe not. Really beautiful.
Fantastic monochromatic quilt! I love the strings and hexagons!
