Reds and Neutrals

Auditioning borders -- the one above is my favorite.  The quilt top is finished, so I am sewing on the border next; then quilting will begin in September -- there are a few in line before starting.
The red was ok, but when I placed it against the center it seemed to be a jerky stop.  I was not looking for a frame, but an extension of the center.

I had this darker neutral, but it was too much of a contrast....still, the top one is my choice. This will be the last time we see it here until the big finish, so I am linking up with Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict ... then moving on.

It is beautiful! Just beautiful. I love the red choice for borders.

I agree with your choice for border - all three are good, but the first one is the best! Whoop whoop!!

Wonderful quilt! I think the red border would distract the attention from the quilt. So I would as well choose the first one.
