Soooo Blue!

I still had several 2 1/2" HSTs left over from the previous Rainbow Challenge Saturdays, so I threw them up on the wall.  I will wait until the end of the year to make a final decision on placements, for now....just playing.

It is the last Saturday of the month, so that means a new color will soon be coming.  I look at my scrappy stash and secretly wish for one of two favorite colors....but I will be patient.

How are your scraps looking?  Are they overflowing like mine??  Why are my scraps still growing, even though I am constantly using them?  Oh Well ... I am heading over to Angela's So Scrappy to see how many others have the answers.

A growing scrap basket is a sign of a productive quilter. I hope so anyway, because As much as I use them up, more keep showing up in the bin . HST blocks are so versatile. No end of ways to use them.

That's an interesting collection you have there. It will be nice to see it progressing.

I'm liking it so far. :)

That's really pretty, Jamie! And I'm firmly convinced that scraps multiply because, like teenagers, they have raging hormones and we coop them up in boxes without separating the boy scraps from the girl scraps!

Lots of options with those scraps up on the wall. It will be fun to see what you end up with.

I like the look of those blocks.
And Im with Sarah Craigs belive that Scraps are breeding in the scrap box. Mine don't get less even so I use them all the time. :-)

I should be cleaning up but the scraps are calling to me. I am pressing and sorting them while I dream of a Totally Scrap Quilt. I keep having to move the 2.5" strips into a bigger tote, and sorting into light and darks. I kept the RW&B strips separate for a Scrappy day with my Guild Next Week. We are making QOV. I'm excited to see what color you get to play with next month.

Such pretty blocks you have. Smart to wait and play with them at the end of the challenge... or whenever something lights the bulb with an idea!

My scrap variety is pretty paltry, so I'm having to create a few!

It's amazing how many designs you can make up with HSTs. Your arrangements at the moment are looking great! Although I've used quite a bit of blue from my scraps they don't appear to have reduced. How's that! Oh well. They get more organized each year ;)

I love the star pattern, it looks great with the blues and creams - they really make the blues pop. Good job so far!
