Lots of Piecing

My sewing room has been VERY busy!  I have completed 3 quilt tops waiting to be quilted.  Although I can't share yet, the above picture is part of the pieced border of one of them -- lots of strips.

This top used up many of my fat quarters of Orientals -- the back will also be pieced.  I still have a drawer full of this fabric and hope to make a few more scrap quilts.  I can't wait to use up the last of these, they seem to reproduce like rabbits.

And a few family pictures ....

Great nieces Alexis and Jolie (now 3 1/2 months) watching a scary movie -- not really, probably a cartoon, but they both had the same look.

Here is Jolie browsing through the sale papers making her Christmas List -- nothing like starting early. As per mom said -- who needs toys!

Mommy (Samantha) and Jolie getting ready for the day.  Look close at the shirts -- so cute.

I am hooking up at Sarah's today, over at Confession of a Fabric Addict for her Whoop Whoop Linky.
