Blogger's Quilt Festival

My Entry to Amy's Blogger's Quilt Festival --- this Indigo Geometric Quilt combining traditional and modern. The quilt was designed right on the wall -- which is my favorite method for designing. Because of all the large spaces, I spent extra time on the quilting design.

The Quilt was inspired by the 2011 Monochromatic Challenge hosted by Judy at Patchwork Times. Although I have a Long-Arm on my wish list, all of the quilting has been done on my home machine.

Now it is time for all of us to head to Amy's Creative Side and visit all of the other entries -- HAVE FUN!

I'm so glad you chose to enter this quilt - it's one of my favorites of yours! And the quilting is amazing - it's hard to believe you don't have a long arm and yet can do that so beautifully!!

I love your churn dash blocks. The contrast between the blue and white really makes it. :)

Beautiful quilt. And I am amazed at the quilting you can do on your home machine. I also quilt using a home machine. A long arm is on my list and has been for a couple of years now.

Do you ever find that your large quilts stretch as you are tugging them when quilting? I feel that mine do and was wondering if you had any tips to keep this from happening.
