Monday Design Wall - RRCB Progress

I have been hand sewing binding (2011 Finish #1) and quilting tops this week, however I have managed to finish a few blocks on the RRCB Mystery Quilt by Bonnie Hunter. Now...when she gave us permission to throw in the Year 2000 fabric, I took her up on it. Of course, I still have more -- so I will try and use it in the backing. Then I still have about 10 other pieces -- OH WHAT WAS I THINKING!
For more Design Walls -- visit Judy's Patchwork Times, I will be linking up -- last week it took me 3 days to visit all the other sites. I sure hope I see just as much inspiration this week.

Love the mystery quilt blocks -- especially those saw-tooth edges! :)

Your mystery project is moving along nicely. I had to laugh when I saw the 200 fabric; I have that in blue and silver in my stash. It is definitely going on the back of some future quilt. Have fun working on the project.

Your blocks are coming along great. You didn't become obsessed with it like I did. :) I think I have one little string left of 2000 fabric. You should take all of yours and use it on the back and be done with it. Always remembering Bonnie gave you permission to do so. :)

Your mystery quilt looks awesome - and tells me that I was right to sit this one out! I'd never have gotten all that piecing done - too many ministry quilts to make! But I'm going to enjoy looking at yours a lot! And maybe you should hold onto that 2000 fabric for when you hit 2000 followers or 2000 blog posts! Then give it away!! lol

I love that quilt. I have bits and pieces of mine done. It's in a UFO/PhD box, waiting for it's number to be drawn in Judy's Ufo challenge.

Yes, It takes me several days to see everyone's design walls. Makes a great thing to look forward to all week.

Your mystery quilt is great! I am so tempted by those challenges but I am resisting to get my UFO's done and QUILTED in 2011!! Ok, who am I kidding, I have several tops in progress as we speak.

I forgot all about the 2000 fabric. how funny. I like the idea of holding on to it until you hit a 2000 mark. LOL

RRCB is looking lovely! I hope you do find a home for all those pieces of 2000 fabric. :)
